For the past few years Mike Lembke (owner of Wollaston Lake Lodge) and myself had shared a dream of entering a film in the Fly Fishing Film Tour (F3T) – While the lodge has some of the most incredible fishing around, we knew it needed more than a big fish to create a film that would be accepted into the tour. This is where Mary and her family came along. Through my 7 years guiding/filming at Wollaston I had created a special bond with a family that frequented Wollaston. Fly fishing has been a common thread that has bonded their family together over the years…and THAT was the story I wanted to tell. Fast forward to now, Thrive Visuals had the opportunity to produce our entry this summer and IT GOT ACCEPTED! I’m very excited to share with you the trailer from our film “Common Thread” which will be debuting on the 2020 Fly Fishing Film tour across North America.
